This year’s conference was an overwhelming success, bringing together around 6o people in our community, including ambassadors, speakers, event sponsors, partners and guests.
E.D.E.N 2015 provided great social interaction for the participants and opened the door for men who were brave to join us. On behalf of the IWS team, we want to thank you for support and assistance with our 2nd annual conference.
Our first thank you is to our sponsors who believed in our vision before everything else started falling in place.
Anna Heim helped us re-create the website after the change of our group name, created logos for the group and our annual conference, transferred the content, delivered website user training as well as supported our event financially.
Bernie Bentley –inspired us to go ahead with another conference after sharing about the new connections and friendships that started growing in her life after attending E.D.E.N. 2014. Bernie joined the group at a very crucial point when things were far from certain and continued to support the event with her sponsorship, coordination and public speaking.
Mike Kneafsey at Connacht Consulting, who supported our event with sponsorship and encouragement to follow our vision. Mike does not live in Southend area but offered his support after hearing about the upcoming event. Mike’s valuable sponsorship made us realise that our group is not only about connecting women but also men with women.

Thank you for stepping out of your comfort zone and sharing your personal insights which helped you on your journey of transformation. The conference would not be inspiring without your empowering speeches. Thank you for your on-going support and spending this day with us and our attendees.
The speeches followed by amazing workshops led by Rosemary Cunningham and Susan Giles. Thank you Rosemary for introducing the story massage and guiding our attendees in connecting with each other. Thank you Susan for bringing everyone together and helping our guest to express themselves through the power of music and rythm in your drumming workshop.
Another thank you goes to the Fashion show team, especially to Joy Phido for leading the show and providing beautiful and colourful african clothing, Jayne Kirk for the make up and styling and Julia Hantig for supporting our guests in making the cat walk a pleasant experience.
We would also like to thank all conference attendees and guests for joining us on the day. It was incredible to share this wonderful day with each of you. We are very grateful for your attendance and support. We raised £240 through the sale of the tickets. First £80 will go to a local community group Just Listening To You, next £80 will be donated to a locally based charity Mumba’s Children Project to support their project in Africa and the last £80 will be used to fund E.D.E.N. 2016.
